Tank Level Monitoring

Screen Shot 2024-01-23 at 1.27.53 PMTo enhance the ability to monitor liquid levels in tank devices connected to Valley 365R, you will now see the total tank capacity amount so that you can compare to the current levels and know the unfilled amount in the tank. This can be found in the sensors widget on detail device view.

Also, all liquid level data can now be measured in gallons, tons, milliliters or liters based on your preferred units of measure and device configuration settings. When your device is configured for 'Tank Monitor' or '4-20mA Tank', you will now find a dropdown for 'Units' from device configuration to set this preference. In addition, you can now configure to see total capacity and/or any of the configured measure liquid levels values. Each will display in the preferred units of measure configured for the device.

Remote Relay Device Link

Users of the device link between Crop Link and irrigation devices (remote relay) now have a new setting in the Crop Link relay configuration on Valley 365 web called 'Exclude Pivot Water' that when set for each relay, will ignore the wet/dry status and only consider if the machine is running or not. This is helpful in scenarios where dry runs are used and you want to automatically enable the relays.

Status Detail Selections

For tank devices, configure to see total capacity and/or any of the configured measure liquid levels values and each will display in the preferred units of measure configured for the device. For Pump CommandR and Crop LinkR devices, set to see the signal input (SI) values for analog 5 and 6 when configured to '4-20mA', and display with the given units that you have input to show.

Loading Improvements

In order to provide you the most real-time data on screen, there have been several enhancements to page loading of web and mobile platforms. Now, as you navigate between pages on Valley 365 web, you will notice faster screen loading of your devices and data to the main pages, as well as retention of filters and map settings as you move to device pages and back to grid or map view. In addition, data refreshes to show latest device details have been enhanced so that as commands are sent, both web and mobile platforms will reflect similarly in near real-time - keeping you from needing to 'request reading' and allowing you to never miss a beat!
